Using video to see how you play

Today I feel as if using video recordings of oneself is a double edged sword. I know it can be useful to use video as a learning tool so as to shine a mirror on yourself. It can reveal the good, the bad and the ugly to help guide us. The video I took this afternoon though, revealed somewhat of the ugly. I try to focus on the good parts, of which there are quite a few, but somehow today it was difficult to process.
